Ireland touts Shaw products
Submitted by Shaw Industries
Kathy Ireland, a brand partner for Dalton-based Shaw Industries in the company’s broadloom and rug divisions, has released her fifth book, “Real Solutions For Busy Moms: Your Guide to Success and Sanity.” To promote the book, which discusses the designer’s relationship with her home categories including Shaw flooring, Ireland conducted a nationwide media tour which included major appearances on NBC’s “The Today Show,” “Hannity,” “Fox & Friends,” “700 Club,” “Mike & Juliet,” “Extra,” “Larry King” and co-hosting “The Early Show.” Also, Ireland was on the cover of People magazine.
“Kathy is not only a great brand partner to Shaw, but a strong advocate for the female consumer,” said Reggie Newton, vice president of residential marketing for Shaw. “We are proud to work with her and congratulate Kathy on the success of her fifth book. Best of all, Kathy lives what she communicates. She is a real mom offering Shaw products that provide real solutions — from recyclability to durability — for her consumers.”
During the book’s media tour, Ireland met with key national consumer publications on behalf of Shaw. With her Shaw samples in tow, Ireland communicated the message of quality, performance, style, color, design and sustainability to an audience of editors from leading publications, including Better Homes & Gardens, Family Circle, Ladies Home Journal, Parents, Redbook and Woman’s Day.
“I love the opportunity to connect with people and explain the success behind our 10 year partnership with Shaw,” Ireland said. “Our brand promises fashion, value, quality and safety. Kathy Ireland Home by Shaw delivers powerfully on each and every promise. In fact, Shaw is the foundation of our design programs.”
In her new book, Ireland provides a road map for dealing with tough times by exploring core issues that moms discuss daily, including managing money, establishing a happy home environment, developing a healthy lifestyle, keeping children safe, finding and living their passion and balancing all of that with their personal needs as a mother.
