Submitted by the Creative Arts Guild

— Classical guitarist Jeff Bianchi is the featured performer at the next Creative Arts Guild In Concert program.

The Williamson, N.Y., native began performing in his teens throughout western New York. He earned performances at the Rantucci International Guitar Festival as well as the nationally recognized Ithaca Guitar Festival. His concerts continued with his move to Atlanta in the summer of 2002.

Bianchi performed electric guitar from 2005-2007 and toured nationally with country acts Young Guns and Chace Roberts. He resumed his solo career in 2009 and toured throughout Georgia. Since then he has toured nationwide. His current repertoire includes a variety of works by Ferdinand Ignace Hinterleithner, Leo Brower, Williams Lovelady and Jose Luis Merlin.

Bianchi performs at the Creative Arts Guild on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Guild’s Jonas Performance Hall. Admission is $5. Children in laps are free.

This marks Bianchi’s second performance at the Guild.

“I am very excited to be able to work with the Creative Arts Guild again. I really enjoyed being part of the In Concert series back in 2012,” Bianchi said of returning to Dalton. “The people were wonderful and it was a fun evening. I was really happy I was invited back.”
