Rosas earns Extra Mile Award

Submitted by Gordon Hospital

CALHOUN — Carlos Rosas has been awarded Gordon Hospital’s prestigious Extra Mile Award.

This special award was created by members of the hospital’s Employee Engagement Committee to recognize employees who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. It is awarded monthly to deserving employees selected by the hospital’s directors.

“As supervisor of patient support for Resource Corporation of America, Carlos is a valued member of our team,” says Brandon McDaniel, patient access manager for the hospital. “He exemplifies our hospital’s mission and we are very thankful for the work he does.”

Rosas, who is originally from Los Angeles, CA, has been affiliated with Gordon Hospital since 2010. He says he is humbled and honored to receive the Extra Mile Award.

“I cannot say enough about all of the people that work at Gordon Hospital,” he says. “They are simply awesome and have treated me like one of their own. Thank you.”

After graduating from high school in Los Angeles, Rosas attended Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA. He and his wife, Janet, reside in Dalton with their two children, Carlos and Valeria.  In his spare time, he enjoys football and baseball, but most of all, he loves spending time with his wife and kids.
