Cyclists on the “Remember the Removal” ride from New Echota to Tahlequah, Okla., take a lunch break at the Chief Vann House in Spring Place on Saturday. The group’s next stop was Red Clay. After some 900 miles, the group on July 15 will finish their trek in Tahlequah, the seat of tribal government for the Cherokee Nation.
