Area Arrests for March 23

• Charles Johnathan Lowery, 19, 116 Louise Lane, Calhoun, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with criminal damage to property-second degree, simple assault, possession of a sawed-off shotgun and criminal use of an article with altered identification.

• Nathan Andrew Panther, 19, 1928 Valley Brook Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, brake lights and turn signals required and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana.

• Angela Faith Ballou, 39, 352 Johnson Road, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and failure to drive within a single lane.

• James Roy Huggins, 29, 111 Midway Drive, Dalton, was Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce and crossing the guard line with marijuana.

• Angelia Renea Jones, 36, 1116 Willowdale Road, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with deposit account fraud.

• Joshua Bryan Swinney, 18, 20 Grey St., Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with burglary, theft by taking and bondsman off bond.

• Jannifer Nan Bramlett, 47, 1901 Mountain Brook Drive, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.

• Oscar Martinez, 28, 167 Bear Den Court, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Richard Lynn Knight, 39, 2234 Highway 52 East, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Chatsworth Police Department with DUI.

• Darren Lamar Stone, 30, 579 Holly Creek-Cool Springs Road, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of Xanax and possession of methamphetamine.
