Eric Jenkins, portraying Jesus, is taken from the cross after being beaten and crucified during Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church’s play “The Soldier's Story” Saturday night. An encore performance of the drama written by Vernon Guffey is tonight a 7 o’clock.
