Area Arrests

• Byron Antwon Clark, 28, 212 Maxwell St., Decatur, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and probation violation.

• Josue Velez Hernandez, 26, 520 Cobb Road, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Georgia State Patrol with false statements, driving without a license, following too closely and giving false information or false name.

• David Earnest Moton Jr., 26, 242 Falcon Drive, Forest Park, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with trafficking cocaine, possession of firearm or knife while trying to commit crimes and bench warrant.

• Justin Lamar Nelson, 24, 1621 Spring Place Road, Cleveland, Tenn., was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with bondsman off bond, possession of methamphetamine, financial transaction card theft and financial transaction card fraud.

• Brandon Keith Dean, 20, 502 First St., LaFayette, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Endy Hernandez, 22, 193 Emerald Parkway, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Chatsworth Police Department with no insurance, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and driving vehicle when registration is suspended or revoked.

• Reyes Munoz, 40, 919 N. Selvidge St., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, driving while license withdrawn, turn violation and failure to drive within single lane.

• Sharon Stegall Webb, 44, 501 Lindsey Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, speeding and failure to drive within a single lane.
