Citizens will be able to view city of Dalton council meetings live via the Web beginning June 2.
A new software system called Granicus will allow the council meetings to be streamed on the Internet. The software, plus a camera in the City Council chambers, cost approximately $38,500. Citizens will be able to log onto the city of Dalton Web site (www.cityofdalton-ga.gov) to view the meetings live the first and third Mondays of the month at 6 p.m.
