Area arrests for May 12

• Fredy Orlando Bautista, 22, 911 Old Dalton Ellijay Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with driving without a license, failure to maintain lane and DUI.

• Reyes Islas, 24, 1827 Crabapple Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and pedestrian under the influence.

• Ryan Ashley Nelms, 27, 877-A Manis Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, criminal trespass, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and driving without a license.

• Jarren Edward Trammel, 19, 604 Pine Oaks Drive, Tunnel Hill, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with speeding, DUI and underage consumption.
