Varnell celebrating flag on Flag Day

“Speak Up for the American Flag” will be Sunday, Flag Day, at 2 p.m. in the Varnell city gym.

The Varnell Community Club has hosted the event since the early 1990s. It is designed to honor the American flag, boost patriotism in the community, and give citizens a chance to speak from the heart about how they feel about this country.
