Area Arrests

• Edward Kay Adkins, 50, 711 S. Hamilton St., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with probation violation and failure to register as a sex offender.

• David Michael Cox, 49, 886 Beaverdale Road, Crandall, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with driving while license suspended, failure to maintain lane and DUI.

• Demetrius Devon Austin, 18, 211 W. Tyler St., Apt. 411, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of xanax and drugs in wrong container.

• Lori Louellen Davidson, 41, 110 Knight Circle, Milledgeville, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with probation violation and theft by conversion.

• Jeffery Alan Parks, 42, 241 Mount Moriah Road, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with drugs in wrong container, possession of hydrocodone, possession of soma, possession of valium and criminal attempt to use counterfeit trademarks (two counts).

• Kristee Marie Williams, 20, 3258 Rauschenberg Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of xanax, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and drugs in wrong container.

• Joshua John Fronek, 21, 9347 Village Lance, San Antonio, Texas, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with pedestrian under the influence, driving without a license, hit and run, failure to maintain lane and DUI.

• Charles William Thompson, 25, 3130 Chattanooga Road, Lot A, Rocky Face, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, tail lights required, tag illumination required, driving without a license and open container in vehicle.

• Carl Daniel Westfall, 48, 605 Kelly St., Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with obstruction of an officer, public indecency, false imprisonment, aggravated assault and battery.
