Area Arrests for Aug. 27

• John Edward Cloer, 29, 1890 Woodlawn Road, Cleveland, Tenn., was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with theft by taking.

• Alfonso Daniel Jr., 34, 2435 Forest Trail Lane, East Point, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine and obstruction of an officer.

• Shawn Allen Duckett, 20, 1915 Otway Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sexual battery.

• Heidi Elizabeth Graham, 47, 2693 Old Chattanooga Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by shoplifting and criminal trespass.

• Virginia Alma Howe, 49, 3517 Meers Road N.W., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with theft by shoplifting and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Francisco de Leon Reynoso, 33, 504 Lucky Place, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and driving without a license (unlicensed/wrong class).

• George Alexander Ridley, 21, 2354 Lake Francis Road, Varnell, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by shoplifting.

• Shane Deno Smith, 37, 808 Old Highway No. 2, Cisco, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with a turning violation, leaving the scene of an accident (hit and run), battery (family violence), third degree cruelty to children, reckless conduct and probation violation.

• Ricardo Antonio Martinez, 40, 5911 Leawood Run Court, Charlotte, N.C., was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.

• Brittney Nashay Taylor, 20, 1904 Tibbs Terrace, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with battery (family violence), cruelty to children and terroristic threats and acts.

• Brandy Alina Weaver, 27, 1516 N. Walnut Ave., Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with battery, cruelty to children and terroristic threats and acts.

• Jared Alexander Weaver, 24, 905 Davenport Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with deposit account fraud.
