Area arrests

• Jeffrey Todd Meadows II, 19, 617 Miller St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI.

• Johnathan Neal Satterfield, 22, 8 Dove Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Chatsworth Police Department with DUI.

• Thomas Earl Sexton, 46, 144 Crabtree Drive, Tunnel Hill, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of firearm by a convicted felon and theft by receiving stolen property.

• Harold Randall Short, 40, 3458 Dobson Drive, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with battery family violence and first degree cruelty to children.

• Fermin Trejo, 48, 3010 Davis Road, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts and third degree cruelty to children.

• Jade Jacole Williams, 17, 2653 Dunn Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, too fast for conditions and failure to maintain lane.
