Area Arrests for Oct. 14

• Bobby Joe Elrod, 54, 1915 Crandall Ellijay Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts.

• Johnathon Olvera-Escobedo, 22, 509 Lesley Drive, Apartment 2, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, driving without a license and a passing violation.

• Dewey Max Poole, 33, 129 Victor St., Calhoun, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts, sexual battery, criminal trespass and three counts of obstruction of an officer.

• Carl William Brackett, 41, 3360 Headrick Circle, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with second degree criminal damage to property.

• Paul David Campbell, 42, 231 Foster Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault.

• William Wayne Crowley, 21, 286-B Old Federal Road N., Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Chatsworth Police Department with statutory rape.

• Gregory Allen Horton, 40, 6220 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with open container of alcohol in vehicle, DUI, fighting in a public place and aggravated assault.
