Area arrests for Nov. 2

• Jeston Mario Brafford, 23, no address given, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and fugitive from justice.

• Victor Salvador Cabrera-Rodriguez, 29, 2718 Dot Crescent St., Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with open container of alcohol, DUI, DUI endangering a child and driving without a license.

• Houston Byron Cantrell, 27, 1209 Piney Ridge Road, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, failure to maintain lane and hit and run.

• Dung Tien Le, 38, 3295 Hurricane Road, Rocky Face, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, obstructing an intersection and improper stopping on a roadway.

• Timothy Moulya Sexton, 34, 2330 Waring Road, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with open container of alcohol, obstruction of law enforcement officers, giving false information, requesting an ambulance with no reasonable need, DUI, DUI endangering a child, driving with a suspended license, operating a vehicle without a proper tag and a windshield violation.

• Jose Francisco Valle-Tellez, 28, 1104 Walston St., Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of cocaine, public drunkenness, loitering and transporting contraband across guardlines.

• David Dean Hopper, 45, 3663 East Imperial Ave., Terre Haute, Ind., was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with driving on a suspended license, habitual violator, a turning violation, open container of alcohol and DUI.

• Dana Ann Mcintyre, 20, 2121 Holly Terrace-1, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of alcohol by a minor, DUI, reckless driving, driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain lane and driving without license on person.

• Aaron Daniel Sturgeon, 27, 575-A Staghorn Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Chatsworth Police Department with driving on a suspended license (fifth offense) and DUI (fourth offense).

• Jessica Victoria Underwood, 20, 3219 Satcher Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of cocaine, possession or consumption of alcohol by a person under 21 and pedestrian under the influence.

• Adolfo Valdez-Torres, 29, 1000 Mobley Mill Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with open container of alcohol, DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Rodolfo Quijano Ventura, 20, 1706 Rosswhite St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with forgery in the first degree, purchase or possession of alcohol by a person under 21, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, DUI, fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, reckless driving, failure to obey a traffic control device and driving without a license.
