Mr. A.J. Callahan, 89, of Chatsworth died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Effie Lee Ridley Callahan of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jean and Glenn Johnson of Chatsworth; grandchildren and spouses, Vicki and Jimmy Dean, Joyce and Robin Stanley, all of Chatsworth; great-grandchildren, Justin Dean, Stephanie Dean, Josuah Stanley and Jenna Stanley, all of Chatsworth; sister, Bell Kendrick of Eton.
Services are Sunday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with the Rev. Lamar Beason, the Rev. Steve Spangler and the Rev. Danny Cochran officiating.
Burial will be in New Hope-Kilgore Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday after 3 p.m.
