Whitfield County grand jury

The following people were indicted by the Whitfield County grand jury recently:

• Jerry Wayne Cantrell, no address listed, for six counts of burglary and one count of theft by taking.

• Jeffrey Lewis Floyd, no address listed, for rioting in a penal institution, obstruction of an officer, criminal attempt and battery.

• Robert Stephen Jones, no address listed, for family violence (battery) and third degree cruelty to children.

• Moises Ocampo Marchan, no address listed, for entering an automobile with the intention to commit a felony, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and theft by taking.

• Robert Lee Morgan, no address listed, for serious injury by vehicle, DUI and driving on the wrong side of the road.

• Teresa Lorraine Moss, no address listed, for prescription fraud.

• Adan Nicolas Rangel, no address listed, for burglary, criminal trespass and underage consumption.

• Shirley Juanita Seay, no address listed, for burglary, habitual violator, 12 counts of theft by taking and 11 counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon during the commission of a crime and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• Cybill Brianna Williams, 19, 499-B Cyder Ridge Road, Dalton, for armed robbery and aggravated assault.



The grand jury chose not to indict the following people:

• Shane Harlan Biles, no address listed, who was charged with aggravated assault and two counts of third degree cruelty to children.

• Sonia Gonzalez-Flores, no address listed, who was charged with DUI and underage consumption.

• Travis Daniel Presley, no address listed, who was charged with aggravated assault.

• Douglas Wade Tinsley, no address listed, who was charged with DUI.

• William Charles Williams, no address listed, who was charged with burglary.
