Bond hearings continued for three charged in murder case (Updated 9:40 a.m.)

A Superior Court judge continued bond hearings for the three men charged in connection with the early Sunday morning murder of a bar security guard.

During hearings this morning, Judge David Blevins continued to Aug. 27 a hearing for 20-year-old Orlando Ramirez, who is charged with murder and two counts of aggravated assault in the slaying of Bruno Rodriguez. Hearings for Juvencio Vega-Garcia, 20, and Fernando Antonio Resendiz, 21, charged with being homicide accessories to the crime, were continued to April 4.

Ramirez goes before Judge William Boyett, while Vega-Garcia and Resendiz go before Blevins.

Dalton police say Ramirez shot and killed Rodriguez shortly before 1 a.m. on Sunday outside Las Delicias nightclub on East Morris Street in Dalton when guards refused to let Ramirez inside because of his age.
