The Family Support Council announces that this year’s “Toast of the Town” honoree is Zack Norville.
Norville is a true Dalton treasure that has traveled the world on his many adventures. He is a master pilot of 50-plus years. He has been a valuable member of the Dalton community since 1956 when he founded Norville Industries. He graduated from Georgia Tech and always had a love for anything mechanical. His love of adventure, dancing and planes landed him here in Dalton where he resides with his wife, Rita, and their animal farm on Dug Gap Road. He has four daughters: Nancy and her husband Joe Hallsworth; Debra and her husband Karl Wellner; Kathy and her husband Phil Amos; and Patty and Mike Silvers. They also have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Norville has many passions and has been involved here in the Dalton community with Kiwanis, Junior Achievement, the de Tocqueville Society, Westcott fellow and Girls and Boy Scouts of America. He has also served on several local boards. He and his wife are active members of Dalton First United Methodist Church.
Toast of the Town is held at The Farm on Thursday, June 6, at 6 p.m. For reservations please contact The Family Support Council at (706) 272-7919.
