Man arrested on child sex charge

DALTON — A Chatsworth man was arrested Thursday after allegedly molesting an underage relative, authorities said.

Hank Andrew Mulkey, 20, of 176 Hale Road, was charged by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with one count of child molestation.

“It was a 5-year-old female relative, and it was reported to us,” said Chief Deputy Ray Sitton.

Mulkey was denied bond in a Magistrate Court first appearance at the county jail on Friday, Sitton said. He could face a Superior Court bond hearing next week.
