Harvest arts show today, tomorrow at senior center

The Dalton-Whitfield Senior Center’s annual harvest arts and crafts show is set for today from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The event will be at the Mack Gaston Community Center in Dalton.

Entertainment for today will include the Dalton-Whitfield Senior Happy Tappers, the Trailblazers Line Dancers and the McGill and Company Bluegrass Band.

Entertainment for Saturday will include a free Christmas craft for children and face-painting by Megan Sardina. Sardina will be painting faces from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be a special guest from the Dalton Arts Project presenting dance selections from “The Nutcracker.” This performance will begin at 10 a.m. There will also be various other dancers at the event.
