Christmas Parade tonight

Santa Claus is coming to town tonight.

The annual Dalton Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Noon Lions Club, will begin at 6 p.m. The parade route will begin on Waugh Street at Jones Street, proceed right on Thornton Avenue, then go left on Morris Street, continue left on Pentz Street and finish with a left on Waugh Street.

Awards will be given for floats with the “Best Use of Theme,” “Most Enthusiastic” and “Most Creative.” Lineup starts at 4 p.m. and participants will be placed in the order they arrive.
