Police: Gun fired, man arrested following dispute on Morris Street (Updated 12:20 p.m.)

A man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after firing a gun following a dispute at A-1 Towing at 1502 E. Morris St. in Dalton this morning, police said.

Police spokesman Bruce Frazier said a man who was upset went to the office and got in an argument with an employee.

"One of the people who came with the aggravated party pulled out a gun,"  Frazier said. The man fired, with the bullet hitting a wall. No one was hurt.

The call came in to 911 at about 10:50 a.m. The man who fired the gun was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
