'Footprints' campaign ends today at Kroger

The American Cancer Society and Kroger stores have joined forces in efforts to fund raise for cancer research in Kroger stores throughout the state. “Footprints” have been sold at the register; the effort concludes today.

The local American Cancer Society office in Dalton is proud to be able to say that the Dalton Kroger store on Walnut Avenue is currently leading the entire state of Georgia in fundraising.

The footprints represent those who walk in honor of or memory of loved ones at the Relay For Life events.

The local Relay For Life event will be held May 3 at the North Georgia Fairgrounds. Anyone interested in receiving information about Relay For Life is asked to contact Cynthia Wilson, community manager, at (706) 279-2150.
