Restaurant report card — Whitfield County

The Daily Citizen

— Whitfield County Environmental Health conducts inspections of restaurants every three months. The inspectors may require a re-inspection. Restaurants are required by law to post their most recent inspection permit.

The Daily Citizen lists areas where the establishments are out of compliance with the regulations.

Comments: Potentially hazardous food not held at 135 degrees or higher. Tenderloin and sausage at 117 degrees and 125 degrees respectively. The tenderloin and sausage was steamed to re-heat to 165 degrees since it was 30-45 minutes since it had been cooked. The drawer was cracked. Keep drawer closed to ensure proper hot holding temperature or use time as a public health control with procedure and documentation of time. Inspection report hidden behind flowers. The inspection report must be visible. Clean containers wet stacked. Air dry before stacking. Clean significant amount of debris off of the can opener blade.



Regency Park Health Care Center, 1212 Broadrick Drive

Comments: No paper towels at hand wash sink. Paper towels must always be available for proper hand washing. Potential hazardous food in walk-in at 46-47 degrees. Person in charge stated that there was a delivery and the door was open 1.5-2 hours. When there is a delivery, ensure that the door is closed when the delivery person goes back to the truck. Only leave the door open when absolutely necessary. Clean glasses wet stacked. Air dry before stacking. Also invert bowls in same area.



Dawnville Drive-In, 1359 Dawnville Road

Invert single-service items. Clean tops of equipment. Clean walls. Service Ansul. Keep window closed. Evidence of roaches. Change sticky paper in fly catcher.
