Restaurant report card — Murray County

Murray County Environmental Health conducts inspections of restaurants. The inspectors may require a re-inspection. Restaurants are required by law to post their most recent inspection permit.

Comments: Observed no one on staff properly trained in safe food handling/preparation. Correct immediately. Observed same sink being used for hand washing and vegetable washing. You must use separate sinks for these activities. Observed food at the steam table uncovered during down time. Every bin was uncovered. Cover all food to be served when not in use. Observed dirty prep tables and knives. Also observed very dirty can opener blade. All equipment that contacts food shall be sanitized. Observed chicken, beans and beef above 41 degrees. All potentially hazardous foods shall be stored below or at 41 degrees. Observed beans still in the cooling process after 24 hours. All foods must be cooled within six hours. Observed cooling beans in a deep pan with lid on. All cooling foods need to be in a shallow pan near the coldest part of the cooler. Add ice if necessary for rapid cooling.
