Jordan Greene has watched as Hannah Locke teaches her body to walk again after a car wreck last April left her paralyzed from the waist down.

“She is the most precious person,” Greene said. “She is so beautiful. I’m so privileged to know her in this trial in her life. It’s really been a blessing to not only me, but to everyone else.”

Greene has decided to honor her friend and raise money for her therapy sessions with a Christian music concert that will feature Chris McDaniel, formerly of the country band Confederate Railroad, and John Luke Robertson and Sadie Robertson. The Robertsons are on the A&E hit television show “Duck Dynasty” and will speak at the event.

The concert will be Sunday, May 4, in the gym at North Murray High School. Doors open at 4:45 p.m. and the concert begins at 5:30 p.m. General admission is $30. Floor seats are $60. Tickets to a meet and greet, which includes floor seats, are $100. Only 60 meet and greet tickets are available, and Greene said more than half of those have been sold already.

Locke, a junior at Coahulla Creek High School, was in a three-car wreck on Dawnville Road. She was a passenger in a vehicle that was hit head-on when a driver of an approaching car crossed the center line.

Since then, community members have rallied around her more than once to help raise funds for her continued therapies. Locke has attended therapy sessions at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, the Siskin Hospital for Rehabilitation in Chattanooga and Project Walk in Atlanta.

Greene, 22, said she hopes the concert will be a combination of focusing on Locke as well as focusing on Jesus. She doesn’t know what the Robertsons will speak about, but has heard Sadie Robertson speak several times.

“She is so great,” Greene said. “She caters her message to the event.”

General admission and floor tickets are available at Northwest Whitfield High School, Coahulla Creek High School, Dalton High School, the Oakwood Cafe and Carol’s Fashion in both Whitfield and Murray counties. Meet and greet tickets are only available by emailing Greene at

Greene is looking for sponsors from local businesses or individuals. Commercials will air on screens throughout the show and ads will be printed on the back of event T-shirts, which will be for sale. For more information on that, email Greene.
