PETA wants to turn Jeffrey Dahmer’s childhood home into vegan restaurant

BATH TOWNSHIP, Ohio — People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants the former home of convicted murderer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer to be turned into a vegan restaurant called “Eat for Life — Home Cooking.” — The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Long Island nursing home: Male stripper hired at request of residents

A Long Island nursing home hired male exotic dancers to perform for its patients, according to a lawsuit filed in State Supreme Court in Suffolk County. The suit, filed March 13, claims that East Neck Nursing and Rehabilitation Center hired “male strippers to perform” as a regular occurrence for residents. — Newsday

More moms stay at home, new research says

More mothers have been staying home with their children since the recession ended, but a growing number say that’s primarily because they can’t find a job, according to a new study. Almost three in 10 mothers with children under 18 living with them are stay-at-home moms, an analysis of Census Bureau data by the Pew Research Center showed. That is a 3 percentage point jump from the depth of the recession in 2008. — The Washington Post

U.S. attorney general warns of criminal appeal of bitcoin, other virtual currencies
