Kenny Marvin Stacy

Mr. Kenny Marvin Stacy, 38, of Dalton, departed this life Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at the local hospital.

Kenny was born Dec. 1, 1970, in Whitfield County. Kenny was a 1988 graduate of Southeast High School. Kenny loved music and was a very talented musician and could play any instrument.

He was the second shift coater supervisor at Shaw Industries, Plant No. 4, and was a member of the Center Point Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Marcella Stacy of Dalton; daughter, Tiffany Renfro of Parkers Lake, Ky.; parents, Marvin R. and Bonnie Long Stacy; brothers and sister-in-law James Davidson, Robert and Ruth Epps; sister Doreece Seritt all of Dalton; grandson, Jackson Renfro; father-in-law, Euel Rose of Kentucky.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Kenny Stacy are Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. George Ross and the Rev. Jack Self officiating.

He will be laid to rest at the Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery with Jacob Allen, Jeff Rigney, Thomas Rhudy, Brandon Rhudy, Johnny Bedwell, John Bedwell, Lee Kicklighter and Brian Sheffield serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Patterson, Randy Gibson and Jerry Leopard.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 9 p.m.Wednesday.
