Carlton C. Cox

Mr. Carlton C. Cox, 62, of Crandall, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, in the Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl J. Cox.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Lorene Cox of the residence; children and spouse, Christie Brown of Chatsworth, Tony Lee and Karen Cox of Crandall; grandchildren, Tas Brown and Colby Cox; mother, Evelyn Cox of Crandall; sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Snooks Defoor of Chatsworth; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Fairy Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday after 4 p.m.
