Bobby Bankson

— Bobby Bankson, 73, Ringgold, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, in a local hospital.
He was an electrical technician with Colonial Pipeline with 24 years of service. Mr. Bankson was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors are his wife of 42 years, Doris Collins Bankson, sons, Michael (Donna) Sharber, Statesboro and Steven (Kelly) Sharber, Cedar Bluff, Ala.; daughters, Amanda Tolbert, Ringgold, Pamela (Tommy) Johnson, Rock Spring; grandchildren, Bailey and Taylor Tolbert, Dustin and Whitney Sharber and Jered Sharber; special friends, Jerry, Wayon, Abbey, and Sierra Hines.
Services will be at noon Friday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Dunagan Cemetery in Whitfield County.
