Mr. Johnny Edgar Carver, 84, of Calhoun, departed this life Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in Chamblee surrounded by his loving family.
Johnny was born on Dec. 24, 1928, in Dalton, a son of the late Howard and Oma Dean Carver. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Earl, Jesse and Calvin Carver; sisters, Mabel Wimpy and Agnes Howell; daughters, Brenda Sue Carver and Crystal Carver; grandson, Blake Carver and the mother of his children, Thelma “Snooks” Bridges.
Johnny proudly served his country and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Carver of Calhoun, Arthur Carver of Lakeland, Fla., Shon and Felicia Carver of Cartersville and Donald Nadolski of Calhoun; daughters, Cynthia Carver of Calhoun and Sandra Odell Carver of Dalton; Johnny had 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who include a special grandchild, Donlisha Nadolski.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Mr. Johnny Carver will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with the Rev. Calvin Anderson officiating. Pallbearers will be Zane Asbury, Devin Childers, Austin Evans, Austin Nadolski, Josh Akins and Ricky Gilbert.
