Harley J. “Bobby” Padgett Jr., 70, a resident of Cleveland, Tenn., passed away Friday morning, Oct. 4, 2013, in a Chattanooga health care facility.
He was the son of the late Harley Padgett Sr. and Maggie Rollins Padgett.
He was employed with the maintenance department of the Cleveland city school system and attended Westmore Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Padgett; one daughter, Cynthia “Cyndi” Summers and her husband Brian of Cleveland; granddaughters, Stephanie and Tiffany Summers; sisters, Linda Larmon and her husband Leonard of Rocky Face, Nancy Pack of Ranger; brothers, David “Pete” Padgett and Jeff Padgett and his wife Ruth, all of Dalton; several nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance of Life service will be Monday at noon at Westmore Church of God with the Rev. Wendell Smith officiating.
Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church cemetery in Tunnel Hill.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the North Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes.
