Mrs. Pauline Keener Nixon Mealer, 76, of Chatsworth and Altus, Okla., passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
She was a member of the Altus Church of God and Lake View Baptist Church. She enjoyed flowers and jewelry.
Mrs. Mealer was preceded in death by her father, A.L. Keener, and her mother, Ethel Keener.
Survivors include husband, Johnston Grady Mealer of Altus, Okla.; son, Rick Nixon of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Brian Dunn of Crandall; stepsons, Terry, Randy and Rick Mealer, all of Altus, Okla.; brother, Billy Keener of Chatsworth; sisters and brother-in-law, Rachel and James Cochran, and Evelyn Hilton, all of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Tracie King, Maria Kimmerling, Lori Pritchett and Tyler Nixon; great-grandchildren, Paxton Pritchett and Luke King; and aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mealer will be held Friday at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Flood, the Rev. William Silvers and Bishop William Estep officiating.
Interment will follow in the Fairy Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
