Amy Beatrice Eaton, 76, of Sanger, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013.
She loved life and her church. She was a hard worker and enjoyed working out in her yard. She was a lifelong member of The Church of God of the Union Assembly.
She was born on May 6, 1937, to Lloyd and Stella Singleton in New Boston, Texas. She retired as a custodian from Texas Woman’s University.
She is survived by daughters, Connie Duke and husband Ronnie of Jonesboro; son, Steve Eaton and wife Evelyn of Sanger, Texas; one sister, Joyce Starnes of Texarkana, Texas; daughter-in-law, Jo Collins of Dalton; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Tony Eaton; seven brothers, Lloyd Singleton, Harry Singleton, Willy Singleton, Henry Singleton, Charlie Singleton, Albert Singleton and Lynn Singleton.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Services will be in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors Monday at 10 a.m.
A graveside service will be Tuesday at United Memorial Gardens in Dalton with arrangements by Dalton Funeral Home.
