Mrs. Onia Mae Vickery, 83, of Atlanta, and formerly of Chatsworth entered into rest Friday, July 26, 2013, at her residence in Ellijay.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Trammell Eugene Vickery Sr.; father, John Riley Gohley; mother, Cora Elizabeth Gohley.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Trammell Eugene Vickery Jr. and Melissa Vickery of Marietta, David Ray Vickery, Alan Scott Vickery and Carla Vickery, all of Atlanta; brothers and sister-in-law, Duke and Nita Gohley of Sonoraville, Billy Gohley of Chatsworth; sisters, Edna Goble, Juanita Mantooth, Rachel Harrison, and Mildred Aley, all of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Pvt. Justin Kyle Stewart of Resaca, Elizabeth Baird Vickery of Holly Springs and Rebecca Mae Vickery of Jasper; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Vickery will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Faith Worhsip Center with the Rev. Vince Goble officiating. Interment will be in Faith Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m.
Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Onia Mae Vickery.
