Mr. Cecil “Gene” Leming, 74, of Dalton, departed this life Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at his family’s residence surrounded by his loving family.
Cecil was born Feb. 14, 1939, in Cleveland, Tenn., a son of the late Herbert and Thelma Reed Leming.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Anne Leming; brothers, Maurice and Clarence Leming; sisters, Alice Bonine and Eunice Leming.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary E. and Sheila Leming of Dalton; grandchildren, Gary O. and Natasha Leming of Dalton, Cherie and John Chester of Atlanta; great-grandchildren, Landen Leming, Addison Leming and Victoria Chester; former daughter-in-law, Donnita Demelo; a sister, Linda Leming of Tellico Plains, Tenn., and a brother, Charles Leming, also from Tellico Plains. He is also survived by his inseparable companion and most beloved Moe.
At the family’s request there will be no services at this time.
