Kay Rymer, 70, of Varnell, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Blanche Nicholson; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Kenneth Green; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Betty Nicholson, and Robert and Jewel Nicholson; and nieces and nephews, Thressa, Eddie and Ricky.
She was a member of Varnell Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and mother and everyone in her life came before her needs. She loved flowers and the flea market.
She is survived by loving husband of 54 years, R.L. Rymer of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Robert Manning of Cohutta; sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Penny Rymer of Tunnel Hill, and David and Patricia Rymer of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ramona “Teeny” and Ethridge “Elp” Underwood of Canton, Audra and J.R. Burgess of Cleveland, Tenn.; brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Bonnie Nicholson of Mableton; grandchildren, Tracy and Chris Staples, and Todd Rymer; great-grandchildren, Ayden and Evan Staples; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Rymer will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Little Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Payne officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 8 p.m.
