Mrs. Minnie Lou Ridley, 92, of Chatsworth, passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at her residence.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church; she also enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Mrs. Ridley is preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard E. Ridley; a daughter, Dorothy Ridley; grandson, Michael Ridley; great-grandson, Ty Ridley; parents, Sid and Pearl Baynes; sisters, Mae Forrest and Gussie Forrest; brothers, J.A Baynes and Sammuel Baynes; sister-in-law, Carolyn Baynes, brothers-in-law, J.M. Forrest, Ben Forrest, Cecil Lance, George Langham and Joe Green.
Survivors Include sons and daughters-in-law, James and Linda Ridley, Wilburn and Sharon Juanita Ridley, Herman and Glenda Ridley; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Charles Ridley; brother, Willie Baynes, sister-in-laws, Farrell Baynes, Bonnie Baynes; sisters and brother-in-law, Geneva Lance, Lorene Langham, Nancy Green and Hellen and Henry Robinson; 11grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Minnie Lou Ridley will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Levoyd Whitton officiating.
Burial will be in New Hope Kilgore Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 9 p.m.
