Mrs. Linda Diane Bartlett, 63, of Dalton, departed this life Friday, April 5, 2013, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga.
Linda was born Sept. 29, 1949, in Sylacauga, Ala., a daughter of the late Otis and Lallie Belle Tinsley Pike. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lois Gibbs.
Linda was a 1967 graduate of Jonesboro High School and was a physician assistant. She was retired from Catoosa Valley Medical in Rome.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Rick Bartlett of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca Lynn Bartlett of Amarillo, Texas, Tanya Lee and Barry Melton of Lynn Haven, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Heather Bartlett Jr. of Rome; grandchildren, Matthew Carter, Stephen Carter, Cheyenne Melton, Kyle Melton, Zachary Bartlett, Chandler Bartlett and Madison Bartlett; brothers, Billy Pike of Griffin, Will Pike of Sautee and Franklin Pike of Foley, Ala.; several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Linda Diane Bartlett will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. Franklin Pike and the Rev. Brett Roes officiating.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
