Mrs. Creta Claudean Dominici, 74, of Dalton, departed this life Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at the local hospital.
Creta was born June 10, 1939, in Iaeger, W.Va., a daughter of the late Norman and Hazel Brown Gibson. Creta was also preceded in death by her husband, Felix Dominici and a son, Buddy “Butch” Dominici.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Felicia and Patrick Mance of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Denise Dominici of Cordele, William and Amanda Dominici of Dalton; grandchildren, Renee and Jason Wright, Katie and Geraldo Jimenez, Patricia and Jack McGuire, Chris and Amanda Arnett, Charles, Destiny, Jeremy Duggar, DeAnna and Shelby Hernandez, Tara and Hope Dominici; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Jessica, Jacob, Jordan, Jasmine, Jayla, Josh, Austin and Dekota; special friends, David and Cheryl Wilcox, Lee Ann Grizzle, Joey Wooten, Junior Sandoval, Roger Dunn and Mike Minks; special thanks to her nurses, Fran, Kat, Jennifer, Stacy and Glenda at Hamilton Medical Center.
She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her, she was a loving and caring mom, grandma and great-grandma. We love you.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Creta Dominici will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel.
She will be laid to rest at Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Patrick Mance, Mike Minks, Roger Dunn, Chris Arnett, William Dominici and Jason Wright serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m.
