Mrs. Trenalo Crider, 76, of Crandall, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at Erlanger Health Systems in Chattanooga surrounded by her loving daughters Quantrell Coffey and Trena Boling.
She was born on March 14, 1937, in Old Fort, Tenn.
“Tren” as all her friends in the medical field knew her, was a nurse for 46 years. She started her nursing career in the 1960s working at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton and went on to work at Murray Medical Center until 2007.
She was preceded in death by her Momma and Poppa Arthur; her parents, Kavanough and EstaLee Arthur; a son-in-law Allen Coffey; a brother Billy Arthur.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law; Quantrell Coffey of Cisco and Trena and Danny Boling of Crandall; a special Brother Roy Frazier of Benton, Tenn.; four sisters, BettySue Timms of Crandall, Nina Jo Kilgore of Chatsworth, Kathleen Franklin of Chatsworth and Roselle Baker of Ringgold; one aunt, Willa Dean Sampson of Chatsworth, five grandchildren Travis, Kyle and Kevin Coffey and Kristy Gee and Katelynn Boling; eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services to celebrate the life of Trenalo Crider will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Chastain and Edward Dunn officiating. Interment will be in Sumach Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4:30 to 9 p.m.
