Daniele Cobb, 72, of Chatsworth, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, in Hamilton Medical Center.
She was born on July 20, 1941, in Issoudun, France. She married in 1957 to an Air Force man. Daniele then came to the United States in 1959 to make her home in Georgia. She had three daughters and two sons who then blessed her with nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a babysitter for 30 years. Daniele loved to plant vegetable gardens and flowers in her yard. She also enjoyed cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Marcel and Louise Lechartier; sisters, Raymonde Oury, Vivian Vhal, Yvonne Ladenise and Suzy LeChartier; brothers, Marcel Michaud, Andre Thomas, Rene LeChartier, Robert LeChartier and Bernard LeChartier; and granddaughter, Kylie L. Cochran.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Nelly and Quinton Tucker of Ellijay, and Vicky Cobb and Elizabeth Cobb, both of Chatsworth; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Charicia Cobb of Crandall, and Darren and Pam Cobb of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nicole Christofferson of Burke, Va., Elaine and Carl Strickland of Ladson, S.C., and Laurence and Daniel Prouteau of Issoudun, France.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Jones Funeral Home in Chatsworth with the Rev. Walter Hare officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday after 6 p.m.
