Mr. David Rittenhouse, 60, of Dalton, departed the life Monday, July 8, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
David was born March 10, 1953, in Dalton. He was preceded in death by his father, Emerald Carl Rittenhouse, and brother, Saul Rittenhouse.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Rittenhouse; mother, Annie Ruth Rittenhouse of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Tonya Gayle and Billy Crouch of Jamestown, Tenn.; stepchildren, Joseph Evans of Dunlap, Tenn., Melissa Brook Rittenhouse of Dalton and Patricia Gail Hill of Chatsworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Karen Rittenhouse of Dalton, and Carl and Charlotte Rittenhouse of Chatsworth; sisters, Deborah Rittenhouse, Wanda Rutherford and Dawn Reed, all of Dalton; grandchildren, Devin and Bradley Myers; and several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. David Rittenhouse will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Bro. Mike Walker officiating.
Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m.
