Ms. Wanda Mae McNabb, 70, of Rocky Face, departed this life Monday afternoon, April 14, 2014, at Memorial Health Care in Chattanooga, Tenn., surrounded by her loving family.
Wanda was born Jan. 17, 1944, in Benton, Tenn., a daughter of the late Boyd and Nettie Bell Dover Hawkins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Laverne “H.L.” McNabb, who died March 7, 1998; a brother, Luther Hawkins; and a sister, Betty Sue Lewis.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kyle McNabb and Tammy Brenner of Rossville; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammie and Benny Seiber of Rocky Face, Pamela McNabb of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Elizabeth and Michael Tarvin of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Joey Seiber, Jonathan Seiber and Kristy Barkley, Mandy and Michael Dean, Heath and Brittany Simmons, Brandon Simmons, Chris and Makayla Williams, Kyle McNabb Jr., Moira McNabb and Eddie Rainville; great-grandchildren, Courtney Dean, Lori Dean, Michael Scott Dean II, Devin Conner Dean, Kinzi Simmons, Lylah Emma Leigh Simmons and Braylon Christopher Williams; great-great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace Dean; brothers, Dub Hawkins and Paul Eugene Hawkins, both of Cleveland, Tenn.; sisters, Brenda Clayton and Barbara Clayton, both of Cohutta, Susan Dorlon of Rocky Face and Frances Cross of East Ridge, Tenn.; her companion for the past 14 years, Ronnie Hartness; his children and grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ms. Wanda Mae McNabb will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating.
She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at United Memorial Gardens with Kyle McNabb Jr., Brandon Simmons, Michael Tarvin, Chris Williams, Harold Sanford, Jonathan Seiber and Casey Tarvin serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m.
