Mrs. Paula Charline Presley Lawless, 84, died Friday, April 4, 2014, at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 112, and a member of the Rebeccas for 54 years where she was the state president (1995-1996).
Charline was the past owner of the Western Auto and Paula’s Flowers, both in Chatsworth. She also taught floral arranging at North Georgia Tech in Clarksville and the last 13 years working at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; parents, Roscoe and Bonnie Bell Hicks Presley; sister, Glenda “Pokey” Painter; brother, J.R. Presley; and her grandparents, Tom and Mae Hicks.
Survivors include her siblings and spouses, Sam and Margaret Presley of Dalton, Mary Lynn Sane of Tunnel Hill, and Ralph and Judy Presley of Dalton; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at noon from the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.
Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today 5 to 9 p.m.
