Clayton Edward Rowe

— Clayton Edward Rowe, 47, of Etowah, Tenn., passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014.

He was born on March 26, 1967, in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., to Edward Rowe and the late Betty Evelyn Rowe. He loved life and was always ready to help anyone. Family was number one to Eddie. He was a prankster and was always ready for a good laugh. He loved sports, such as golf, cars and the Florida State Seminoles.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Rowe of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Clay and Jessica Bishop of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Alicia Rowe of Dalton, Tiffany and Micah Lilly of Fort Polk, La., Samantha and Michael Westfield of Cleveland, Tenn., and Beth Gibbs of Cleveland, Tenn.; father, Edward Rowe of Dalton; brothers and sister-in-law, Jeffrey Pierce of Dalton, Herman and Vickie Cantrell of Rocky Face, Edward Rowe of Tunnel Hill, and Aaron Rowe of Louisiana; sisters and brother-in-law, Arlene Robertson of Dalton, Barbara of Missouri, Anita Davidson of Dalton, Elaine and David Parson of Dalton, and Vickie Black of Dalton; and grandchildren, Brady Bates, Brent Walston, Harper Bishop, Jacobie Gibbs, Alex Lilly and Carter Rowe.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Clayton Edward Rowe will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations will greatly be appreciated.
