Mr. Danny Lee Everett, 59, of Varnell, departed this life Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Danny was born July 14, 1954, in Maryville, Tenn., a son of the late Daniel and Josie Lethco Everett. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Everett.
Danny was an auto mechanic by trade and worked for more than 28 years at the C&W Superette in Cohutta, and at Harris Tire in Cleveland, Tenn., for more than 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Watson Everett of the residence; son, Randall Quinn of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Amber Quinn and Tony Wimpy of Cohutta, and Tiffany and Shawn Holland of Varnell; grandchildren, Blake Quinn, Destiny Holland, Haylee Holland, Seth Holland, Shayley Wimpy, Shelby Wimpy and T.J. Wimpy; brothers and sister-in-law, Tom and Tina Everett of Chatsworth, and John David Everett of North Carolina; sisters and brother-in-law, Deloris Underdown and Cora Jean Cain, both of Cohutta, Arrica and the Rev. Junior Williams of Villanow, and Judy Denise Everett of North Carolina; sister-in-law, Madine Everett; very special friend, Larry Bennett, both of Cohutta; and several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Danny Lee Everett will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Ridley officiating.
He will be laid to rest at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Cohutta with Kenneth Everett, John Everett, Samuel Everett, Michael Cain, Blake Quinn, Tommy Williams and Gene Spurling serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
