Ouida Seymour, 97, of the Pleasant Grove community, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Seymour, and was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Melanie Wilson of Dalton; sisters-in-law and husband, Sibyl and Jim Brooks of Monroe, Bette Seymour of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother-in-law, Philip and his wife Peggy Seymour of Monroe; one grandson, Frank and his wife Rachel Wilson of Roswell; one great-granddaughter, Zoe Wilson of Roswell; nieces and nephews.
The funeral to honor the life of Mrs. Seymour is Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Mullis officiating.
Burial will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
