Mr. James Harland Kinsey, 59, of Crandall, departed this life Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at his residence.
James was born Dec. 20, 1953, in LaFayette, a son of the late A.L. and Irene Cochran Kinsey.
He was preceded in death by a brothers, Charles “Buddy” Kinsey, Randy Kinsey; sisters, Brenda Walston, Margaret Singleton and Betty Goswick.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and John Wesley McBee of Cohutta, Crystal and Bennie Sproles of Dalton; grandchildren, Anna Kinsey, Alexis Kinsey, Hunter McBee, Kayla McBee; sisters, Nettie Henderson of Tunnel Hill, Shirley Withrow of Chatsworth, Renee Chartrand of Tunnel Hill; special pet, Dog; several nieces and nephews.Services to celebrate the life Mr. James Harland Kinsey will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. Junior Williams officiating.
He will be laid to rest at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Ringgold with Rocky Stokes, Charles Kinsey, Troy Goswick, Allen Goswick, Spenser Chartrand, Matthew Henderson and Randy Stevenson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel today from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
